Overview

The practice of firewalking has existed for thousands of years in dozens of different cultures as a powerful experience for the evolving human. It is one of the oldest and most widely spread rituals that our planet has ever known. For most firewalkers, the firewalk is a unique method for testing one's beliefs about the nature of reality and what role one plays in the creation of that reality. This ritual has served as a very graphic demonstration of what is possible and as an unforgettable example of human potential. Even the simple act of viewing a firewalk, whether it's in person or on video, can make a dramatic shift in your belief system. Each and every time a person walks on fire they are continuously reminded of the connection between their mind, body and their environment.

History

It seems that the ritual of firewalking dates back before many religions. It has been practiced throughout time by tribes and ancient cultures across the planet. The most well documented users of the strange practice include South American Indians, Tibetan monks and African Tribes.

Firewalking was introduced to the Western World by Peggy Dylan and Tolly Burkan in the USA. Over the last two decades firewalking has helped manifest more joy, love and empowerment to thousands of people across the globe.

Procedure

Knowing the secret behind firewalking can improve your life. Even if you never do it yourself, knowing how it works can bring you better health and increased personal power. Firewalkers are instructed to pay close attention to their thoughts, since those very thoughts are the way in which we create our own realities.

There is an inherent risk in firewalking. Therefore it is recommended that you only attend seminars run by properly trained F.I.R.E. certified instructors. To be F.I.R.E certified, an instructor must go through a comprehensive training, be of high integrity and must adhere to a strict code of ethics. The F.I.R.E certified instructor runs a firewalk that is made as safe as possible given the inherent risks.
